Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

We specialize in full stack development, Cloud, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, Offensive Cyber, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Intelligence (BI), Data Science, Machine Learning (ML) related initiatives, both in the federal and commercial space. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Developer with Cloud and Database experience to support threat representation within the IC community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing software applications and a deep understanding of cloud computing and database technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software applications using cloud technologies

• Develop web-based interfaces in Python using the Django Web Framework

• Design, develop and administer databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)

• Assist in the deployment of DevSecOps pipelines for all software development projects

• Develop front-end and back-end code for web based frameworks

• Support database administration to include: Query development, stored procedures, database functions, views, and interconnections with the software

• Support Data Scientists in developing data analytical products or web-based applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Test and deploy software applications on cloud platforms in classified or unclassified spaces

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to cloud computing

• Mentor junior developers and help grow the team's technical expertise

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• At least 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud and database technologies

• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, C++, or Node.js

• Proficiency in front-end coding languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of web application frameworks and basic networking knowledge to support deployment on classified and unclassified networks

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Solid understanding of software development best practices, such as agile methodologies, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Travel: 5 %

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Desired Skills:

• TS//SCI Clearance with ability to pass a Counter Intelligence (CI) polygraph

• Minimum certification in: Security+, CISSP, or any IAT Level 2 certification

• Experience building tools for threat representative prototypes within the IC community

• Experience deploying software applications on classified networks

• Supported moving software applications through the RMF process on either unclassified or classified environments

• Knowledge and experience supporting DOT&E in multiple warfare areas

• Azure or AWS cloud certifications
