AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer to join our dynamic IT team! This position can be based out of Hamilton, NJ or Wilmington, DE. The Full Stack Application Developer works inter-departmentally across various units and levels of the Information Technology Group and business line liaisons to translate the needs and requirements of the organization into software enhancements for existing systems, integration of third-party applications, or the development of custom software solutions. The Developer, working with the Technical Lead and/or Application and Development Management in collaboration with other IT units, will participate in the creation of project plans for all necessary development phases, tasks and milestones. The Developer develops and implements the software solutions necessary to meet the requirements of the organization.

The Ideal candidate will have the following Primary Programming

  • Experience with full stack development - UI, business logic and database

  • Experience in Java/JEE

  • Experience in C# / ASP.NET

  • Experience developing web services (SOAP, REST )

  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, Angular JS/React

  • Experience in revision control including: git, subversion.

  • Experience in relational databases like Oracle and SQL Server.

  • Experience in developing SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts and Stored Procedures

  • Working experience in cloud-based development is preferred


  • Responsible for the development of the various components within a specified application, as well as incremental testing of the integrated components and modules as they are completed. Complete the day-to-day development tasks to ensure adherence to standards and priorities.

  • Provide accurate estimates for the development plans and system equipment standards for the applications developed or enhanced. Assist in the creation of development methodologies, naming conventions, and data modeling approaches.

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture and other IT units in the development of tactical plans, designs, and specifications.

  • Implement the daily development tasks in accordance to development methodologies.

  • Test applications in all phases of development to ensure proper functionality and end-user acceptance.

  • Perform secure code scanning and address any vulnerabilities seen on modules completed.

  • Provide estimates for development and implementation plans.

  • Tactical planning and design specifications.

  • Review applications in all phases of development to ensure adherence to development standards.

  • Acknowledges and abides by Information Security Policies.

  • Participates in PCI Compliance, including providing evidence for quarterly and yearly audit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least 4 to 5 years' experience in software development.

  • At least 1 Professional certification is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary for competent performance of the job):

  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.

  • Some knowledge of leading data and/or business modeling tools preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle experience in Object Oriented utilizing development tools, 3rd generation languages such as Java, .Net and/or 4th generation languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, PHP etc. and/or Mobile development platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.

  • Ability to use logic and critical thinking skills to accomplish objectives and identify and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated understanding of accountability, effectiveness, and efficiently produced quality work.

  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology
