Full Cosmetologist

Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is looking for a Full Cosmetologist to join our team.

Job Description: Talented licensed cosmetologist to help customers transform their physical appearance to their liking! You will be responsible for listening to the customer's wants and provide them with the most suitable services.

We are the #1 Spa in Clearwater and have a full salon inside our spa. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of improving hair, nails and skin. They will be deft and competent with a broad knowledge of trends and styles.

The idea is to achieve maximum customer satisfaction to drive long-term success for our business.

Essential Functions:

• Cut, style and color hair and do scalp treatments

• Apply make-up creating a variety of different looks according to the requests of the client

• Perform facial & skin beauty treatments, body hair removals and manicure/pedicure

• Apply and sell cosmetics and other beauty products

• Maintain equipment and workspace

• Maintains quality service by following salons hygienic standards.

• Shifts will vary week to week with potential for full time.

• Must be able to keep area clean and organized

• Read, comprehend and adhere to protocols

• Be able to effectively present information

• Must be a team player

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and also be self-motivated to stay busy with side work/cleaning in downtime.

• Focused on achieving positive guest relations and maximizing guest satisfaction

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience as a cosmetologist

• Great customer service skills

• Working knowledge of all aspects of cosmetology and best practices

• Up to date with beauty trends and trending styles

• Excellent communication and people skills

• High school diploma; successful attendance of a cosmetology school is a must

Education Requirements:

• Certification from a recognized cosmetology school

• State cosmetologist license.

• Cosmetology License (Preferred)

Experience:

• Guest services: 1 year (Preferred)
• Full Cosmetologist experience: 1 year (Preferred)
