This position operates a switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing local and long distance calls. The receptionist greets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors. Answers all telephone calls to the Operator lines in a professional and timely manner. Calls will be directed to the appropriate department and/or personnel to assist the customer with their questions and/or issue. Assists and directs walk-in customers to the proper department/personnel. Excellent communications skills are essential. Effective communication with customers and back office personnel to provide expert level care for all customer needs.
This is a part-time temporary position. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills.
Proficient with applicable computer software.
Exceptional organizational and customer service skills.
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00am 5:00pm
