Position Classification: Full-Time Nine (9) Month Faculty
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Academic Rank: Instructor
- Bachelor's degree in Networking, Cyber Security, or Computer Engineering Technology or related field.
- Two (2) years of cyber security operations and networking experience; Two (2) years of experience teaching networking operations and cyber security courses at community college or at the undergraduate level preferred.
- Ability to apply and convey cyber security and networking concepts; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Academic Rank: Assistant Professor
- Bachelor's degree in Networking, Cyber Security, or Computer Engineering Technology or related field.
- Two (2) years of cyber security operations and networking experience; Two (2) years of experience teaching networking operations and cyber security courses at community college or at the undergraduate level required.
- Ability to apply and convey cyber security and networking concepts; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Position Responsibilities:
Teach cyber security operations and networking courses. Must have experience in designing, identifying, managing, and updating, appropriate hardware and software for networking, programming, cloud computing, and cyber security instructional space; experience in designing and delivering courses in digital forensics, ethical hacking, cloud computing, risk management, and regulatory compliance preferred; Certified Information Systems Security Professional industry certification preferred. Travel to our Extension Centers required.
Entry Salary: Instructor - $38,977/Assistant Professor - $42,531
Standard Work Week: 35 hours
