Full-time Faculty, Associate Degree Nurse Education Program (Maternal child)

MCCC/MTA Unit Position

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

  • Works as a member of the teaching teams to teach Foundations of Nursing, Maternal/Child/Life Span Nursing, Health Assessment and Pharmacology in the classroom, clinical setting and clinical simulation laboratory.

  • Participates in curriculum development, program accreditation, evaluation of students, computerized test development, student advising, program and college committees.

  • Performs other duties as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

  • Availability to teach day and or evenings in the clinical setting.

Requirements:

  • An earned Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college/university

  • Minimum 2 years of full-time employment in nursing within the past 5 years

  • Evidence of clinical competence in area(s) of Nursing Foundations and Maternal/Child Health is required.

  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license in good standing required.

  • Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations

  • Face 2 Face, online, hybrid and or videoconferencing teaching experience preferred.

  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team teaching environment

  • BLS Health Provider Level certification from AHA required.

  • Knowledge and experience with the use of patient simulators and technology preferred.

  • Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and a National background check as a condition of employment

  • Candidate will be required to clear a 10 panel urine drug screen per clinical placement policy as a condition of employment.

Additional Information:

SALARY: Anticipated salary range is $55,000-$65,000 per year plus fringe benefits. Actual salary will be commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the MCCC/MTA collective bargaining agreement.

ANTICIPATED START DATE: Spring semester beginning January 4, 2021. Must be available for orientation to clinical setting in December 2020.

Courses begin the week of January 19, 2021 Marketing - MKT203 Principles of Selling Please refer to the Find Courses link on the College website for for additional course information. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Teach one or more sections of Marketing Program courses * Prepare course syllabi that meet all contractual requirements * Schedule classes to meet for the allotted time on every scheduled meeting day during the semester. * Cover all department course outcomes * Employ effective instructional strategies including video conference teaching that promotes student learning * Use appropriate assessment tools to accurately measure student understanding of class subject matter. * Monitor email communications from students and the college, and respond in a timely manner. * Contact dean or advising staff as necessary regarding student issues * Meet all deadlines for submission of grades, student participation reports, student grievance responses and other administrative documentation Requirements: * Master's in Marketing or a closely related business field is required * 5+ years of experience in outbound sales for a B2B company. (Please Include sales process/steps and how you were successful in your cover letter) * Demonstrated successful achievement of established quotas * Previous sales or marketing leadership experience strongly preferred * Minimum of 3 years experience using sales automation and/or CRM tools: Hubspot, LinkedIn, Salesforce.com * Proficiency using LinkedIn as a sales prospecting tool * Ability to lead and guide sales representatives using the Hubspot Inbound Sales Methods * Proficient using Google tools suite and/or Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Prior teaching or training experience preferred; teaching experience in higher education and/or at the community college level is strongly preferred * Experience teaching online/hybrid and/or embedding the use of technology into the curriculum preferred * A commitment to and experience working with a diverse student body is also required * Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment Additional Information: Salary: Adjunct salaries are dependent upon the number of credit hours.
