Position Description Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all store areas, inside and out, such as bathrooms, break rooms, sprinklers, and parking lots. Perform preventative and basic maintenance on all store equipment, ordering and installing parts needed for repair, coordinating with contractors when appropriate.

Assist customers on the sales floor when necessary. Job Requirements Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise.

Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Minimum Qualifications Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction). Preferred Qualifications 6 months facility maintenance experience including preventative maintenance and repair on facility systems and equipment (e.g. changing cutting blades, light bulbs, filters). 6 months janitorial/groundskeeping experience. 6 months customer service experience.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Office, this position serves as a leader, catalyst and advisory resource for patient experience initiatives, and is responsible for developing system-wide service standards and service improvement initiatives, developing and leading implementation of robust and enduring pathways for patient engagement within NHcare including informatics, community initiatives, healthcare quality improvement initiatives and system redesign efforts. Through collaboration with NHcare leadership, the Director will define, direct, coordinate and manage all aspects of the Patient-Centered Care experience. The Director will lead the Customer Service Center including call center, referrals case management, and medical records functions. The Director of Patient Experience builds programs and seeks improvements to services impacting the patient and visitor experience; implements new programs and initiatives with organization-wide and community impact. Through daily collaboration with corporate, clinical and administrative staff, develops strategies for education, continuous improvement and change management in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision, and Values. . Key focus areas Strategy / Patient-Focused Initiatives * Develops, implements, monitors and supports an organization-wide patient experience strategy that establishes and continually improves the overall patient experience with the intent to positively impact patient retention and new patient attainment. * Leads efforts to use the voice of the customer to impact strategic and operational priorities, including development and convening of appropriate patient advisory councils, committees or focus groups. Conducts periodic mystery shopper calls and/or site visits to measure quality of service and compliance with all regulation programs and shares trends with appropriate staff. * Determines operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, reviewing capacity plans, and estimating cost/benefits; identifying and evaluating state-of-the-art technologies; defining user requirements; establishing technical specifications, and contributing information and analyses to organizational strategic plans and reviews. * Assures and supports the active participation of patients in community health improvement activities, commissions and/or workgroups. Develops and utilizes patient focus groups to enhance understanding of patient care barriers or catalysts. * Uncovers the socio-economic barriers that keep people from achieving their healthcare goals. Communicates barriers to relevant stakeholders and works to support consumer advocacy. Identifies barriers that can be addressed through innovation or those that are further impeded * Assesses NHcare's current use of health information technology (HIT) for patient engagement and works with key individuals to develop strategies to increase the number of new patients that access services. Leadership / Management & Supervision * Leads a team of support staff to ensure the business maintains the highest level of service by delivering value to the customer while operating an outstanding customer service center including call center, referrals case management, and medical records functions. * Develops departmental policies, procedures and infrastructure to support best practices in patient experience throughout NHcare, including but not limited to, delivering products on time and keeping accurate client records. Ensures the highest levels of business practices are in place and continuously monitors workflows and processes. Responsible for the implementation of changes including system upgrades or migrations, new project roll-outs, service modifications and other initiatives. * Nurtures employee growth and development and enables employees to focus their efforts on direct patient care management. Provides coaching, training and staff development feedback to employees. Performs performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed consistent with NHcare process and timeline. Training, Employee Development and Communications * Collaborates cross-functionally in the development and improvement of training resources and materials. Liaisons with other administrative and operational departments to best provide patient engagement through the effective flow of information and activity * Works with clinical teams to strengthen service orientation and identify specific communication skills needed for effective, culturally appropriate and empathetic communication with patients and families. * In partnership with Human Resources, develops and deploys organization-wide employee initiatives to support improved patient experience and consistent application of standard service behavior. Develops appropriate metrics to evaluate and interpret the connection between patient satisfaction and customer service ratings on annual employee performance evaluations. Ensures a consistent approach to patient advocacy and customer service and influences local accountability and ownership of the patient experience at all staff levels. * Partners with the Communications department to ensure consistent internal and external communication and marketing strategies which recognize patients first as essential components of the NHcare brand. Conducts literature reviews, researches best practices and inventories of community services and program data to support and inform the development, implementation and evaluation of best practices and strategies related to engaging patients Analytics/Informatics/Metrics * Builds and analyzes identifiable markers in patient metrics that correspond with renewed patient engagement tactics. Tracks metrics of the patient portal and develops recommendations for portal improvement to utilize as a patient engagement tool. * Oversees the operations of patient experience data reporting and internal education about patient satisfaction surveys. Elicits patient input when developing tools and resources that aim to improve patient engagement. * Collaborates with the EMR/HIS team to develop and operate appropriate patient support software and technologies, including patient engagement and experience surveys. Analyzes data to monitor unusual occurrences and real-time feedback. * Communicates patient satisfaction analytics to executive leaders with remediation plans as required; Implements remediation plans. Experience and Skills: * EDUCATION: Requires Bachelor's degree in business management, healthcare, organizational development, or related field; or equivalent experience, generally identified as four years work experience in healthcare or a related field. * EXPERIENCE: Eight years of progressive management experience in a multi-cultural healthcare organization, including direct patient experience, required. Must have five years of experience in program development or a change agent role including demonstrated ability to facilitate complex projects producing the desired outcome. * KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated strong business acumen, operational skills, and successful partnership with line operations. Knowledge of industry trends, competitive benchmarking skills, and ability to apply cutting edge practices that deliver business results * SKILLS: Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational, and change agent skills. Strong problem solving, negotiation, collaboration, presentation and communication skills. Must demonstrate high learning agility and have an ability to deal with and coach others through constant change. Data analytic smarts and the ability to tell a story using objective and subjective information. Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficiency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. * ABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to execute both strategic and tactical priorities using knowledge of the organization and its employees. Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees at all levels and all ages, social and ethnic backgrounds. Able to work independently and as part of a team and maintain confidentiality. * OTHER: May travel to other NHcare sites for training or meetings.
