PepsiCo Foodservice is a division of PepsiCo that brings the company's entire portfolio of food and beverage brands to market in out-of-home consumption channels to meet consumer needs at work, at play, and on the go. This Foodservice position is part of PepsiCo's National Account group.

Introducing four (4) newly created positions on the PepsiCo Foodservice Team.

These Foodservice Sales Business Development Senior Managers will be responsible for developing volume driving strategies to win new business within the $850MM Beverage Healthcare Channel. This leader will be aligned to the NAB Region Sales Team to lead the New Business RFP's and Renewals in order to deliver or exceed regional sales and profit plans. By working cross functionally with our sales and marketing teams, this person will leverage the entire PepsiCo portfolio to identify key opportunities, strategies, and tactics for industry leading programs and best in class execution in the Hospital and Healthcare Channel.

Location Flexibility: this is a WFH role and the position can be based out of Schaumburg, IL or Wixom, MI.


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience; preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization

  • Foodservice and/or Healthcare Industry experience preferred

  • Acumen in diverse supply chain and distribution, including warehouse, Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and distributors

  • Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement and commitments

  • Strong communication, collaboration, influence and impact skills at all levels within an organization

  • Experience in advanced negotiations and managing financial impacts to the P&L

  • Superior presentation development skills (Development and delivery to senior levels)

  • Exceptional results orientation with a high degree of personal initiative and leadership

  • Must be willing and able to travel 40-50% of the time

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Summary This position entails selling the entire line of ADC Products to a regional market based accounts, with a strong emphasis on government sales. The selling process includes developing new business in defined regional accounts, as well as growing existing customer base. It includes determining customer needs, developing account specific strategies, creating customer commitment to change, and implementing conversion (training and start up) upon close. The position includes any of the following customer types: Federal Government Medical Centers, including, but not limited to Dept of Defense (MTF's), VA Medical Centers, Indian Health Tribes, Public Health agencies, and Managed Care. Main Responsibilities Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. Selling, including cross-divisional initiatives and customer base development. Assess business impact of contracting opportunities to include overall profitability and impact on sales and margin. Working to ensure optimal territory management and efficient implementations/training. Account Management/Customer Care. Leadership and self development. Effectively manage assigned budget while maximizing return on investment. Accountability This position will be responsible for developing business in accounts that are regional in scope. Other accountabilities include budgeting, customer VIP trips to key locations, semi-annual business reviews, accurate forecasting, preparation of customer business plans, and new product distribution. Qualifications 1. Four year degree in Business, Communications, Health Sciences or equivalent experience. 2. A high degree of computer literacy (functional ability to use Microsoft Office expected). 3.0 to 5.0 years of proven successful sales track record at Abbott Laboratories or equivalent. Will generally require 4+ years of successful sales experience if candidate is from outside of Abbott Laboratories.
