Frontend Software Engineer, New Grad

We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer interested in building engaging and insightful products for managing and visualizing large scale distributed real-time data streams. Data flow is central to how companies operate and we aim to make that experience intuitive and attractive. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating new visualizations and interfaces that can scale with Apache Kafka.

• SPAs written in React linked by Yarn Workspaces

• Robust code verification via comprehensive linting, type checking, and unit + end-to-end integration tests

• Daily deploys and every commit (and PR) is verifiable in production

• Feature flags enable independent frontend releases from backend releases

• Bots keep dependencies up to date

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 2 years of experience OR Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 1 year of experience

• Experience building data intensive client-side web applications

• Understanding of modern JavaScript, Typescript/Flow, semantic HTML, and CSS

• Experience with React/Redux (or equivalent)

• Experience with modern JavaScript tooling/Webpack/Babel

• Strong foundation in algorithms and application design

• An eye for well designed interfaces and user experiences
