Frontend Developer

Akkodis is seeking Frontend Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX(Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing and maintaining the server side of web applications, ensuring efficient API integrations, and developing responsive UIs with modern frameworks. Rate Range: $60/hour to $62/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Frontend Developer job responsibilities include: Designing, building, and maintaining responsive user interfaces using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ensuring cross-platform functionality and compatibility of applications across devices and browsers.

Integrating APIs and web services (REST/GraphQL) to handle complex data interactions. Developing mobile-compatible UIs and ensuring performance optimization (lazy loading, server-side rendering). Writing and maintaining unit tests using testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Jest, and Selenium. Collaborating with product owners, scrum masters, and development teams in Agile environments.

Reviewing code and providing feedback to improve code quality and test coverage. Documenting technical specifications and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 10 years in web development with extensive experience in frontend technologies. Expertise in ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with modern web technologies like NodeJS and ES2015. Strong experience with API integrations, version control systems (Git), and Agile development methodologies.
