This person will oversee the day-to-day operation of the medical reception area and provide initial patient/client contact. Must be able to perform the varied supervisory functions of this position and at the same time be helpful and cordial to all patients.
Education: Associate of Art's Degree preferred. Two years of relevant experience may be substituted.
Experience: Typing/Computer skills required and supervisory experience required. Experience of 3 years in a medical office setting required and the use of medical terminology required. Relevant experience outside the medical field may be considered.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Must work independently with little supervision; Bilingual English/Spanish preferred excellent communication skills; consistently manage employees and administer clinic policies; and responsible for knowing the detailed work of a credit manager and the functions of that position preferred (varies by clinic).
