The Front Office Lead Host creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.

We Care Follow Up
Training of new Hosts
Conduct pre-shifts as needed to ensure clear communication of the day's events to all other Front Office staff
Assist with group reservation preparations such as pre-assignments and pre-keys
Communicate with Housekeeping leadership and manage/monitor hotel and room type inventory
Aid in maintaining cleanliness, stocking and overall appearance of front office areas
Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of management
Inventory control of front office supplies
Guest satisfaction and recovery
Monitoring Expedia/Booking.Com Extranets for guest billing/questions
Monitoring Airline blocks - reservations/blocking
Monitoring both Front Desk Shared Mailboxes and actioning on inquires/guest requests
Processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires
Monitoring of Credit Card Authorization Platform- updating guest CCA forms includes setting up guestroom routing/payment/billing
Other leadership tasks as defined by department management
Open availability to learn night audit host role and assist when applicable
