We are a 5 star Family General Dentistry Practice seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator to join our exciting team.

Our office provides excellent quality patient care in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Must be a warm and friendly team player, with a positive attitude, excellent people, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess a great work ethic, be flexible, self motivated, punctual, able to multi task, and be a forward thinker. Prior dental front office experience is a must to be considered for this position.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Answer phones promptly

Check patients in and out.

Update/verify patient insurance and demographic information

Schedule patient appointments appropriately

Confirm appointments

Effectively fill schedule when openings occur.

Maintain a friendly welcoming environment for out patients.

Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality

Post insurance/patient payments

Requirements

High School Graduate or higher

Dental knowledge/experience

Excellent phone/communication skills

Basic Computer skills

Ability to work efficiently unsupervised

Ability to multi-task and problem solve

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-02-07T00:00 <p>JOB SUMMARY:<br>The Insurance Coordinator communicates with insurance companies, insured patients, and other team members in the dental office to ensure correct insurance information is provided and verified in a timely manner. This position is responsible for verifying insured patients’ information is current, and ensuring the details of dental benefits are properly entered into Open Dental in order to help provide the patient with accurate financial estimates for their treatment plan.</p><p><br>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br>● Audits all patient accounts from the previous day to ensure documentation is correct, paperwork is<br>completed, the patients leger reflects the actual services rendered<br>● Take appropriate write offs and adjustments as discussed with the office Team Lead.<br>● Bill dental insurance<br>● Responsible for creating dental claims the day services are rendered.<br>● Ensure all pre-authorizations are sent to the insurance companies and are tracked and followed up on in a<br>timely manner.<br>● Build trust, and understand the patient’s objectives.<br>● Understand the practice’s policy on working with dental benefit plans and be prepared to educate patients<br>on their dental benefits.<br>● Oversee and track dental benefit plan accounts receivable and follow-up on claims regularly for claims 1<br>to 30 days old from date of service to ensure timely payment.<br>● Communicate with all outside and third-party financing companies offered to patients and educate patients<br>on the available outside financing options.<br>● Assist in Practice’s collections protocol for all outstanding balances.<br>● Billing Report<br>● Manage Promise to Pay Payments<br>● DentalExchange<br>● Manage Unsent Primary Claims<br>● Scan EOBs and Checks to the central posting<br>● Manage denials resubmistion<br>● FOS Support<br>● Perform general office duties and other duties as required.<br>Key Performance Indicators include, but are not limited to:<br>● 28 Days of Sales Outstanding<br>● 90 day collections 70% total</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>QUALIFICATIONS:<br>2+ Year of experience required. To successfully perform the job responsibilities for the position of Insurance Coordinator, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
