    Administration Reports to: Executive Assistant to Headmaster Location: Palos Verdes Peninsula POSITION SUMMARY This position is considered to be an ambassador representing the Chadwick School values and the Chadwick community.

    Must be able to handle busy phone and foot traffic quickly and accurately. Should greet everyone with a positive, helpful, and inviting manner. Willing to serve and see assistance through completion and communicate with others on any follow up matters.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Understand campus procedures and be able to answer all questions regarding Chadwick's operations. Provide additional support for high seasonal activities where required Maintain high quality customer follow up Execute service recovery when needed Receive/track/sort packages and mail Coordinate package shipping Assist Business and Development office with incoming payments Order and maintain supplies for all school Manage and update profile changes in Vercross Provide back up for Master Calendar entries Maintain faculty/staff mailboxes and lounge supplies Coordinate with facilities for campus emergencies Provide back up for transportation coordination pertaining to sports teams and chartered trips Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned Education, experience and skill requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google

  • Word, Excel, Power Point etc. Excellent customer service skills.

    Professional and polished. Strong sense of teamwork. Well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, often with competing priorities.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities. Positive, flexible, and collaborative colleague. Self-starter who enjoys building partnerships and relationships.

    Compensation - $25.00 - $30.00 - Based on qualifications and experience. Work Environment and Physical Requirement Required to lift and carry up to a maximum of 25 lbs., in a correct manner consistent with the appropriate training provided by the School. Occasionally required to use hand to handle or feel objects, touch and use tools, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, grasp, talk, hear, and walk during the course of employment.

    Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and an ability to adjust focus. May use telephone, computer, copier, and other office equipment in the course of a day. Required to sit while operating word processing equipment for approximately 6-8 hours daily, repetitive motion for typing and other keystroke needs.
