The Grill at Crooked Creek Marina is looking for a passionate and energetic Front of House (FOH) Manager to oversee the front of house functionality of the restaurant. Apply now to have the unique opportunity to work in a fun atmosphere with an amazing team at our lakeside restaurant.

Overview:

The Front of House Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day front of house restaurant operations run smoothly and efficiently. In order to do so, the FOH Manager must ensure that the restaurant is appropriately staffed, that all opening and closing duties are executed properly, and by following up with all guest concerns. The FOH manager will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff and must be knowledgeable of the respective standards for each. He/She will also be responsible for completing inventory of alcohol, chemicals, and serving supplies and reporting it to the business office. The FOH manager must be committed to team member and guest safety, and must follow all proper food service and alcohol service guidelines. This is a working manager position.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Maintain a clean facility and report any maintenance/repair needs as they arise.

  • Execute maintenance schedule for equipment.

  • Complete inventory counts for alcohol, chemicals and serving supplies, and receiving orders as they arrive.

  • Prep service area and bar for service and assist with all service duties.

  • Hire, train, and manage personnel while working closely with the Restaurant Manager.

  • Open and close restaurant in accordance with processes in place.

  • Identify and address customer needs, concerns, and issues.

  • Log and report food and alcohol waste.

  • Report employee and customer injuries.

  • Enforce food and beverage standards, quality, and consistency.

  • Anything else needed or asked upon.

What Does a Qualified Candidate Look Like?

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Previous supervisory experience with proven knowledge of restaurant processes

  • Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines

  • Proficient in MS Office and POS software

  • Guest-orientated and trustworthy

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

  • Outstanding communication and people skills

  • Ability to multitask, problem solve, and make decisions

  • Attention to cleanliness and safety

  • Full Weekend Availability (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)

  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
