JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Eisenhower Auditorium is hiring Front of House Event Staff. This position is casual part-time employment and requires mostly evening and weekend availability.

Duties Include:

  • Welcoming and directing patrons

  • Lobby and conference room set-up

  • Scanning tickets

  • Staffing concessions locations.

  • Assisting with volunteer usher management.

Successful candidates must have or wish to develop excellent communication and customer services skills. Scheduling for work is dependent on employee availability and event needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The part-time Education Program Assistant will collaborate with and advise marketing and campaign strategy specialists, educators and faculty event leaders, and event registration managers to ensure successful delivery of program events and workshops. This position will manage the development and implementation of the online registration websites using the Cvent event registration system, by collaborating with educators, faculty members, event leaders, and event registration managers. Responsibilities include: registration website configuration and content management for a large quantity of program registration websites and templates based on specific program needs and established best practices. As part of the process, the position will consult with educators, faculty members, event leaders, and event registration managers as needed to ensure needs are continually being met. This position is a point of contact for any client questions and concerns regarding Cvent event registration management, registration processes and support, and operation efficiency. This position will also troubleshoot and diagnose problems, identify and apply technical and/or practical solutions, as well as follow-up on registration issues, requests for information, collection payment processes and issues, on-site support, etc. This position may assist to identify current and/or anticipated needs for established best practices and protocols and collaborate with team and management to develop effective best practices and protocols based on technical and practical experience. This position requires an understanding of event planning and marketing concepts and experience with event registration software such as Cvent is preferred, but not required. This position requires critical thinking, high attention to detail, and ability to proof, edit, and write program descriptions and content for immediate publishing, applying excellent grammar and punctuation skills. Also required of this position is an excellent communicator who can manage and ensure continuous open communication with the team and clients, which is critical to a smooth and effective operation. Experience in marketing technology applications, such as CMS, and email service providers is preferred, but not required. This position requires a high level of self-direction and personal accountability and ability to work in a demanding, deadline focused, dynamic environment, and consistently produce deliverables within agreed-upon timelines. In addition, the candidate must be highly organized with excellent time management skills, and the ability to shift priorities and multitask in order to meet aggressive deadlines and should constantly strive to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, technologies, and Cvent best practices and training opportunities.
