Position: Front End UI Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA or Remote with some travel
Status: Contract assignment
Estimated Duration: 3 months with extensions into 2019

A Health Insurance company located in Philadelphia, PA is presently looking for a Front End UI Developer. Technical skills that are required are: UI Design, Website design for a mobile interface, and someone who has the ability to design an application from the ground up. SQL Scripting is also required.
Preferred Skills include experience with Java, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, JQuery, Bootstrap, Oracle APEX, WordPress, Mobile application development (Android/IOS). Other products to be used: MS Office, SQL Management Studio, Oracle APEX
Roles and Responsibilities:
A candidate is desired that is highly adaptable and desires to learn new technologies. Candidate should be highly skilled in UI design, User Experience, and Imagery.
This role will be provided the opportunity to work across many different applications and products. While no specific development platform or technology experience is required, this is a developer position. Experience developing a UI for both desktop browser and mobile platform is strongly desired. A significant part of this role will be to enable or extend existing applications for a mobile/tablet interface.
Provide design, development, testing and support of numerous custom built applications that are managed by the team. Desire for a candidate with strong UI experience, that can help redesign existing solutions.
Make existing applications extensible. Integrate supported applications with other applications via technologies such as SOAP, REST, SQL to facilitate automation and efficiencies.
Work closely with customers and business partners to gather requirements and produce design documentation. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Highly skilled. Competent to work at the highest technical level throughout all phases of SDLC. Experience working in both an Agile and Waterfall development environments.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, typically six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of four years experience in program development, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
