Under the Store Director's supervision, a Front End Supervisor is responsible for all front end operation. This position will enforce company policies and procedures regarding cash handling for the front end of the store.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. The Clinical Supervisor will manage clinical, administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions that promote the highest element of service provision for the direct care staff and clients they work with and various other duties as assigned by the Program Director. About the Facility: Volunteers of America Renaissance Center's mission is to help individuals reclaim their lives from the disease of addiction to alcohol and other drugs and to reduce the incidence of addiction in future generations. We are an agency committed to quality, responsive, trauma-informed care to adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the daily program operations of direct service programs. The Clinical Supervisor will manage clinical, administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions that promote the highest element of service provision for the direct care staff and clients they work with. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Manages flow of referrals, intakes, and discharges of participants to ensure utilization rates by contract are achieved. * Oversees and ensures that the documentation in electronic client files meets standards set forth by Drug Medi-Cal and funding agencies. Ensure that services are provided in collaboration with all applicable funding streams and regulations. Responsible to ensure contract compliance with all funders to include grant management, presentations, and reports. * Staff supervision including hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff. If applicable, provide individual and group supervision to interns collecting clinical experience and hours for licensure in their chosen field. * Responsible for the implementation of the service delivery model and in support of Volunteers of America's mission, vision, values. * Responsible for the implementation of consumer-centered services that are needs-driven and strength-based, and are culturally relevant. * Ensures accessibility and welcoming of all people. * Ensures compliance with documentation and charting requirements for funding streams. * Communicate effectively and conscientiously utilizing strength-based language and philosophy throughout all aspects of program management and supervision. * Participate in the delivery and attendance at trainings for the purposes of agency, professional, and personal development. * Adhere to Volunteers of America's Operating and Program Policies and Procedures. * Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures and insure that residents and staff are safe at all times. * Other duties as assigned. Required Credentials, Abilities, & Experience: The Clinical Supervisor must have a current LPHA license under one of the following categories, along with at least three years of direct experience working in behavioral health, with same or similar populations, and must carry an active status on the certifying organization's members list: LPHA: Abbreviation for Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts comprising the following clinical professionals: physicians (MD or DO); nurse practitioners (NP); physician assistants (PA); registered nurses (RN); registered pharmacists (RP); licensed clinical psychologist (LCP); licensed clinical social workers (LCSW); licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCC); licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFT); license-eligible practitioners working under the supervision of licensed clinicians. The LPHAs must provide services, and receive supervision required under their respective scope of practice laws. [DMC-ODS Special Terms and Conditions] The Clinical Supervisor must retain an active status for the duration of their employment and maintain a current license, obtaining required CEU's per the guidelines of the certifying organization(s). Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English. Additional requirements include: * Maintain a working knowledge of alcohol & drug treatment programs and dually diagnosed programs, Federal client confidentiality regulations, specifically, CFR 42, PART 2 regulations and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) confidentiality regulations, pertaining to policies and procedures. * Maintain in-depth knowledge of treatment modalities for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts and dually diagnosed population. * Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. * Properly complete all program forms accurately, completely independently. * Properly implement instructions and procedures. * Convey respect, concern and understanding to clients, fellow employees and the public. * Demonstrate good judgment, enhancing program effectiveness. * Must have the ability to respond appropriately in case of program incidents or emergency medical situations. * Must have the ability to document in writing all incidents that related to staff, residents or the facility, per program policy and procedure and within the required time frame.
