MMC Group is looking for an experienced Front End Software Engineer with experience with React and JavaScript for a great direct hire opportunity in the Wakefield area.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and move up the ladder quickly!

Salary range is $114k - $125k (depending on experience)

Client is currently transitioning their UI so as to use React, Webpack, ES6, Jest, Gulp, SASS and other great tools.

Write front-end code using React, JavaScript, HTML, SASS, Webpack, Jest
Act as a senior technical lead to the UI Team
Be a significant part of our transition to React and SASS
Use Git for version control
Write technical design documents from product specifications and user stories
Review designs and implementations for code quality and adherence to specifications
Work closely with and incorporate feedback from product management and back-end engineers
Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems

3-5 years in building browser-based applications
Deep understanding of React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with their use in dynamic, client-oriented web applications
Ability and desire to mentor junior developers
Working knowledge of design patterns (modules, factories, facades, etc), their pros and cons, and how to use them to solve problems
Familiarity with Git or another DVCS
Experience with server-side templating engines
Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance, experience with Jest a plus
Good understanding of client-server communication protocols and server-side programming
Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility
Strong foundation in interaction design principles and the ability to translate user stories into interfaces that facilitate them

Curaleaf is currently seeking a creative and driven Project Engineer to join our team to manage construction projects, equipment installations and design of mechanical systems in building spaces. The ideal candidate would have experience leading the project management of small to medium construction/engineering projects in conjunction with designing and developing all aspects of mechanical components (i.e., HVAC), equipment, and machinery. Can apply knowledge of engineering principles to design systems and equipment installations. Competent in general engineering processes and procedures (strength of materials, fluids). May be involved in operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical systems. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing in a food or pharmaceutical environment. Responsibilities * Project Management: oversee project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected quality, and allotted budget. Can see the "big picture" from beginning to end of the project * Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of sheet metal and structural steel equipment * Reviews work with vendors & contractors to insure work is done to specifications and written procedures * Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed * Performs engineering design evaluations and calculations * Creates drawings using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD * Knowledge of safe design, sanitary design, of food processing equipment, and packaging equipment * Creates Bill of Materials * Creates new product design and reviews/enhances existing designs * Support manufacture, build and validation of systems * Frequent travel to sites in other states to assess equipment, spaces and trouble shoot systems-40% travel is required. * This position can be based in Wakefield, MA (Boston area) Education and Relevant Experience * Bachelor's degree in mechanical or other engineering discipline with 2-6 years relevant experience * Experience with food and pharmaceutical construction standards-HVAC systems experience preferred * 3+ years' project management experience, PMP certification or training a plus * Knowledge of ASHRAE and FPA preferred * Computer proficiency; Microsoft Office, working knowledge of SolidWorks/Auto CAD * Basic electrical/controls knowledge desired but not required Curaleaf is an Equal Opportunity Employer Curaleaf Wakefield MA
