Front-End Manager (Onsite)

Job Description The Front-End Manager is the focal point for all Front-End supply chain/factory activities. The manager develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth and sustainment. The manager supports execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches. The Front-End manager monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. This includes but is not limited to Reel Availability, SMI/SCRIMP & Discrete shortages and Line Side Stock analysis.

The manager optimizes how supply chain interfaces with manufacturing systems. The manager will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. Also support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams as well as utilization of system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals.

This position requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of procurement and planning process steps; the individual must be capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure success for the program. Candidate will have direct reports that review all CCA WOs to ensure we are running at the latest hardware revision and building to a current work plan. Additionally, the direct reports will assist in developing continuous improvement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiencies through the SMT process. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan, and accomplish department objectives with a wide degree of creativity, continuous improvement approach, and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of duties.

The Front-End manager will lead, develop, and implement supply chain strategies for the program / product line. This candidate will network with management and team members across the enterprise to drive success.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience

• Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations

• Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems

• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes

• Sales & Operations Experience / knowledge

• Inventory / stockroom management

• Project Management experience

• Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Create presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customers

• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in MRP, especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and ECOs. The individual would be proactive to reduce exceptions and may influence system change requests to the MRP system. Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
