Front End Manager - Garden Center

Front End Manager of Garden Center/Farm Stand Location: Tewksbury, MA Annual Salary: $37,000 - $45,000 Hours can be 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6 at this location, 5 days a week with both weekend days being required.

Additionally, there is overtime and the possibility of a 6th day during our busy seasons of May and December. This is a Direct Hire position Summary The Front-End Manager is responsible in overseeing all cashier and register related duties. Ensuring all cashiers are properly trained and familiar with customer service standards, company policies and related procedures as well as the maintenance of department Inventory and employee scheduling.

Responsibilities of the Front End Manager: Ensuring that cashiers are engaging with customers in accordance with company policies and procedures, assisting customers with product location knowledge Execute all administrative tasks and documentation requirements for the cashiering team including the communication of seasonal staffing needs, payroll approval, change in status forms, IT requests and all other documents needed to maintain Front-End efficiency Create and maintain scheduling of cashiers to ensure store is efficiently staffed Develops and administers POS related training materials and demonstrations to new employees, while providing on-going training and updates for current employees Maintain front-end store appearance of the helpdesk and registers, directing the cleaning and replacement of returned, broken and damaged items Requirements of the Front End Manager: Customer Service experience Experience in Retail setting required Produce or agriculture experience preferred but not required Problem Solving Skills Experience as a team leader, supervisor, manager highly preferred Must be computer literate Apply Now Respond to this ad with your resume
