The Customer Management Value Stream is focused on providing the best experience to OnDeck customers, along with serving the needs of internal departments like Customer Service, Capital markets, Accounting, Risk and Collections.
As a Front End Engineer at OnDeck, you will:
Work closely with product managers, design and other engineers to build robust, maintainable, and scalable UIs in an agile environment
Write extensive and rich test suites to ensure system stability
Provide recommendations for technical improvement and uphold best practices
Necessary qualifications for success:
At least 4 years of experience building and maintaining front end applications
At least 2 years of experience with React
Experience with Git, Webpack, NPM, CSS, HTML
Experience integrating with REST web services
Fluent in modern, clean, and maintainable code
Experience with front end testing framework and monitoring services
Good understanding of responsive design
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of browser compatibility
Good understanding of UX concepts
