The Creative Group is working with one of San Diego's premiere companies who is looking for an accomplished Front-End Web Developer who is passionate about working in the digital/interactive industry and had a keen design sense.

Who You Are

This detail-oriented individual will work closely with the creative and strategy team(s) in developing the front-end for various online marketing campaigns, including websites, online games, and social media applications.

  • Develops web- and mobile-based applications and works on website maintenance and enhancements

  • Write web pages in a combination of languages, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

  • Assisting in coding and testing technical solutions

  • Bring solid working experience with various client-side technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

  • Evaluate designs based on usability and influence, write functional requirement documents and specifications, and promote usability best practices

  • Maintain graphic standards and corporate branding throughout the product's interface

Additional duties:

  • Create quality mock-ups and prototypes on tight timelines, and visually integrate and enhance the architecture, UI and navigation outlined by Creative Director and product management

Job Requirements


  • 3-5 years experience

  • A strong understanding of adaptive web design, usability principles, and mobile strategies

  • Experience working within a CMS to create and update web pages

  • Proficiency in web technologies and in-depth knowledge of design software and authoring tools, such as:

o Illustrator

o Photoshop


o CSS3

o Drupal


o JavaScript

o jQuery

Agency experience a big plus.

Summary: The Web Developer will work on the IT team at SBP and will be responsible for maintenance, configuration changes, and web site modification. They will be responsible for development of SBP SharePoint based Intranet and all sites contained within, external collaboration sites, and any one-off websites that fall under the care of IT.
