We're currently hiring for a Front-End Developer in Durham, North Carolina

As a Front End Develop with ICF you will join our digital solution teams, blending creative thinking with big technical chops to help clients build brands, devise business strategies, implement responsive technologies, and create user experiences. We push the digital world forward, using technology to achieve life's most important missionconnecting people. Are you ready for what's next?

ICF's Front End Developer creates rich user experiences with a mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and is proficient with JavaScript framework or libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Other experiences include:

  • Creating responsive, mobile-friendly websites

  • Good design and user experience principles

  • Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite

  • GIT and/or SVN

Skills that are nice to have include accessibility principles, creating performant web pages, source control workflows, code reviews and writing unit test.

Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence * Develop new user-facing features• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browser• Be a part of the day to day activities of a team of Product Developers• Work with a vertical area of one or more products• Contribute to a technical product roadmap• Be the technology and domain subject matter expert in one or more business domains and/or technical areas.• Help drive the successful completion of development projects.• Create technical design documentation.• Evaluate and implement new technologies into the current development process.• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical standards.• Takes active participation in technical training and mentoring for junior team members and cross functional teams.
