Summary

As a front end developer, you will be a key member of the innovative Direct Growth team. This role will help improve the quality of the end user experience for cold and hot traffic. You will and can help solve web problems quickly and efficiently as new campaigns are rolled out or on existing pages. Most importantly, you will be able to help improve the efficiency of marketing performance.

This integral position to company performance and culture, will exemplify Gaia's internal culture both externally and internally. The ideal candidate will lead by example in demonstrating the values of humility, integrity, collaboration, curiosity, nimble execution, and responsible ownership to foster a productive, engaging and rewarding team environment.

Responsibilities

How you'll be spending your day:

• Structuring and maintaining WordPress pages for marketing facing landing pages to attract new Gaia members

• Optimizing web traffic to accommodate mobile users. Making sure the latest up to date best practices are being followed. Ensuring that all pages are responsive and user-friendly

• Implementing A/B testing and assuring stakeholders that the tests are running correctly. Correcting any issues as they arise and providing quick fixes to web problems

• Collaborating with other developers, including QA, to ensure that consistent practices are being used across the business and components

Qualifications

What you're bringing:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Or 3 years+ in related prior experience

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WordPress development

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities at once

• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

• US citizenship or US residency with an existing work permit is required

• Non-smoker

• Must be available to work in our campus in Louisville, Colorado
