Job Description
Summary
The Front Drive Shift Lead oversees operations of the Bellmen, Doormen, Valets and Drivers as designated. Act as interface between guests and hotel. Responsible for parking and transportation environment.

Essential Job Functions
Ensure that all Hotel guests' needs are identified and resolved as required.
Ensure that guest assistance from airport/drive through to rooms is of quality service levels.
Hire and train employees
Work with hotel departments, and establishments with regard to groups, VIP's and individual guests to ensure first class experience for the guest.
Manage and maintain working environment and administration for staff.
Handle guest complaints/problems ensuring a timely result to the satisfaction of all parties.
Perform as Manager on Duty as required.
Maintain to a high and safe standard the garage environment and the hotel limos.
Assist in hotel budget preparation.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll administration.
Departmental scheduling to meet business needs.
Staff reviewing, development and motivation.
Distribute parking permits and control of parking environment.
Ensure all departments in the group are run in accordance with laid down procedures and policies.
Review guest arrivals/ departures and identify specific requirements as required.
Manage garage revenue and reconcile as required.
Provide group and individual management review and discipline.
Ski with Hotel guest as required.
Make Guest Services Manager aware of guest's comments and complaints.
Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook.
Report to shift on time.
Comply with all policies and procedures for the Rooms Division, The Little Nell, and Aspen One
Is familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management.
Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand.
Qualifications
Must be able to handle a number of intense issues at the same time
Degree in hotel management or general field. However, strong people skills with management experience could be substituted for higher education
Good interpersonal skills
Valid Colorado driver's license
Ability to manage and motivate staff
Previous management/supervisory skills
Dynamic with high follow-through levels
Computer literate

Supervision Given and Received
Given: Exercises direct supervision over Guest Services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, frequent and detailed review of work, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Received: Works under direct supervision of Guest Services Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
Regularly work in adverse conditions and requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to lift, push or pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
