We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Front Desk/Reservationist to join our team!

This is a Seasonal Part Time Position

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as an ambassador of the company, exemplifying excellence in customer service

  • Manage multi-line switchboard, answering, screening and directing all winery calls

  • Coordinate and confirm all incoming guest reservation requests, via phone and email in a gracious, timely manner

  • Responsible for scheduling and choreography of appointments to ensure that the flow is appropriate for the space restrictions of the tasting room

  • Welcome visitors and guests; direct guests appropriately for both scheduled and walk in appointments

  • Provide facility information and general assistance to both guests and clients

  • Prepare and distribute Visitor Center daily tour/tasting/event schedules to winery staff

  • Build new and retain existing ambassadors through customer engagement, customer follow-up and by providing outstanding customer service with all customer interactions

  • Facilitate accurate sales transactions using retail POS registers

  • General administrative and clerical support as needed

  • Any other duties as assigned by a manager

  • Fast paced, customer facing work environment

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and non-traditional business hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Primarily inside Tasting Room, with occasional outside.

  • Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • 2 years of retail customer service experience recommended

  • Strong communication skills, customer service skills, sales skills and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Goal orientated and able to work as part of a team

  • Ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups

  • Interest in or knowledge of wine and wine industry

  • Proficiency in Point of Sales (POS) systems and basic computer skills preferred

  • Must be flexible and available to work varied hours

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies

Performs all functions related to breaking down deliveries and stocking shelves. Job Responsibilities * Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products. * Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items. * Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor. * Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required. * Assists with periodic inventory checks. * Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings. * Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously. * Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product. * Follows and complies, or ensures compliance, with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices. * Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards. * Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing. * Immediately reports safety hazards and violations. * Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
