We are looking for a highly motivated Front Desk Supervisor to join the team at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa. The ideal candidate would understand how to create an incredible first impression as the face of this beautiful and unique property. While checking in, registering and assigning rooms to guests, the Front Desk Supervisor would be a source of knowledge for fellow associates and guests relative to the hotel, its amenities and nearby dining, entertainment and shopping.

Provides guidance and leadership as the Front Desk Supervisor ensuring consistent quality customer service is delivered. Assist the Front Office Manager and Assistant Office Manager in managing all aspects of front office, guest services, PBX and gift shop operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and adhering to all company standards, policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
v Education: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. High school diploma required.
v Experience: No prior experience required.
Two years combined prior front desk and supervisory experience preferred. Minimum six months supervisory experience or one year comparable front desk, hospitality or related experience. Must be professional, have excellent customer service skills and smile.
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
Basic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
Ability to listen and interact effectively with guests
Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Ability to stand, walk and continuously perform behind the front desk.
Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports of room availability and revenues generated.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
