Manage hotel front desk operations in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.

Essential Job Functions
Monitor occupancy levels to ensure most efficient use and minimize overbooking.
Remain an active participant at the front desk, including checking in/out guests, preparing bills and handling guest requests.
Be a lobby ambassador and interact with guests on an individual level. Thus, creating a relationship and culture that will result in repeat stays.
Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Monitor and respond to guest reviews.
Review correspondence from guests and incident logs and direct front desk staff according to information obtained.
Create specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies.
Assist in monitoring front desk financial operations and ensure front office compliance with accounting controls and procedures.
Assist in monitoring daily, weekly, monthly, and annual department-wide forecasts on labor and expenses.
Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support front desk associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards.
Supervise direct reports such as Front Desk Supervisor(s) and Front Desk Agents.
Oversee all front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements
3 to 5 years experience in operational hotel management in and around front office.
Opera PMS or similar expertise. HotSOS for Housekeeping application knowledge a plus.
Effective communicator and expert in team leading.
Ability to build a conducive culture and work in a cross departmental environment.
Enthusiastic in serving others and ability to be empathetic

Work schedule varies, must have flexibility in availability and may include working on holidays, weekends, and overnights.
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
