TITLE & SHIFT: Front Desk Agent, Full Time/PartTime. This team generally works during every

Husker Game. Shifts are generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 11:00p.m. and include weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Facilitateall transactions to ensure a positive guest experience; includinggreeting/welcoming all guests, check-ins/outs, effectively resolve challenging guestrequests and complaints.

  • Representthe hotel with professionalism and decorum including remaining calm and alert, especially during emergency and/orheavy hotel activity.

  • Make appropriate selection of roomsbased on guests' needs, make corrections and adjustments throughout the shift.

  • Input and retrieve informationroutinely from computer systems with electronic and numerical codes.

  • Performall other related duties and special projects as requested and/or assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1.Mustbe able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidaysand the ability to work under pressure.
2.Abilityto effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positivemanner. This involves listening to thenature of concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providingpositive and proactive solutions.
3.Excellentphone etiquette skills, interpersonal, listening and communication skills toinclude the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
4.Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Prior hospitality and/or cash handlingexperience preferred.
5.Basicmathematical skills and ability to operate a 10- key by touch, as well as beingknowledgeable in accounting operations; prior exposure to Microsoft OfficeExperience/Excel is highly preferred.
6.Mustbe detail-orientated, able to multi-task, produce high quality and accuratework as well as show professionalism in all facets of the workplace.
7.Mustbe able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteousmanner at all times.
