Job Description

Provides front-line customer service; supports patient care by ensuring that all required demographic and financial information is collected from patient and is entered into the medical information system; communicates to providers, ancillary staff, and patients to insure appropriate delivery of services and billing.

Required Qualifications

Required: Per Classified Civil Svc Specs:

Six months experience (600 hrs course work) in customer service or communications demonstrated experience using computers file management and document preparation and distribution keyboard experience (minimum 3 months). Desired: Previous experience working in a health care setting front-line and telephone customer service experience knowledge of medical terminology

Desired: HS Graduate or Equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience, knowledge of medical terminology, front-line, customer service experience and excellent verbal communication skills.

Additional Information:

Targeted hiring range is 15.00 to $18.51/hr.
