Front Desk Associate

Position: Front Desk Associate

Salary Range: $18-20/hr depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced and reliable, full-time Front Desk Associate at an established, independent Internal Medicine practice in Orlando, Fl. The ideal candidate will be friendly, able to multi-task and have medical front desk experience. Ours is a busy primary care practice requiring attention to detail while building an excellent rapport with our patient.

Responsibilities:

• Check in/out patients
• Complete insurance verification and referrals
• Schedule appointments
• Monitor and respond to patient and clinical staff messages
• Answer incoming calls
• Scan documents
• Obtain co-pays and payments
• Maintain clean appearance of waiting area and front desk

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior front desk experience in a medical setting (2 years preferred)
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (Preferred)
