To provide a warm, friendly welcome and reception for guests checking in and out of the hotel and offer other hospitality assistance in accordance with Sheraton's high standard of customer service and guest satisfaction.
Responsible for applying the Sheraton guest service standards for the department while maintaining confidentiality.
Monitor guest satisfaction and the handling of guest complaints and service issues.
Check guests in and out, and handling guest communications including incoming and outgoing calls, wake-up calls, package deliveries, faxes, luggage holding, valet parking, etc.
Implements customer service campaigns in collaboration with other departments.
Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Complete daily assigned checklists.
Speak clearly and listen carefully.
Use personal judgment and specialized knowledge to give information to people.
Communicate well with many different kinds of people.
Excellent computer skills
Use good judgment in guest issue resolution's
Education & Experience
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Starwood/Lightspeed experience preferred.
Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
Basic Computer Skills and ability to learn Lightspeed and other related programs.
Basic computational ability.
Fluency in English with ability to speak, read, write and understand English communications in the workplace.
Ability to solve problems and handling service issues or complaints.
General knowledge of the community and attractions.
Ability to learn about the hotel, its services and facilities.
Ability to work as part of a team providing excellent guest services.
Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holiday and weekend coverage
The willingness to think outside the box and go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
