Position Purpose:

Provide front desk coverage and office support by handling day-to-day office and administrative operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet all visitors and employees as first point of contact in the office and direct visitors to appropriate parties.

  • Maintain reception area and nearby supply closet.

  • Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls as needed.

  • Book conference rooms, schedule appointments, prepare meeting rooms as necessary to ensure cleanliness and preparedness.

  • Assist in ordering food and in setting up lunches, events and meetings.

  • Handle day-to-day office and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail (utilizing postage machine)

  • Ship and receive packages using various couriers (includes UPS, FedEx, USPS, et al.)

  • Help cleanliness and maintenance of café area and overall office space (includes dishes, dining tables, floors and appliances, including microwaves).

  • Keep the food pantry neat, organized and well stocked in accordance with guidelines.

  • Shop for food as required: (Comparison shopping, coupons, sales, cost control)

  • Other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements / Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Warmth and professionalism in interactions

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain high level of organization

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT, etc.

  • At least 1 year of hospitality experience preferred.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000

  • The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
