Responsibilities

As a Parts Salesperson at WCTractor, you'll have the opportunity to interact with customers daily, working as part of our dynamic sales team to meet their needs and provide valuable information.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting customers and assisting them in finding the parts they need, offering expert advice on product usage, maintenance, and installation.

• Managing inventory to ensure all parts are correctly stocked and displayed for optimal visibility and accessibility.

• Addressing customer dissatisfaction by coming up with creative solutions to maintain business, especially when dealing with backorders, damaged parts, or stock-outs.

• Organizing merchandise and updating displays to reflect current inventory, sales, and promotions.

• Calculating sales totals, considering factors such as discounts, store credit, promotions, and flash sales.

• Labeling parts based on their function and price using established organization and documentation methods.

Parts Counter Sales Qualifications

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Extensive customer service experience.

• Experience handling heavy phone volumes.

• Previous experience in parts sales (preferred).

• Basic computer skills and the ability to quickly learn about a variety of parts.

• A personable, friendly demeanor with excellent listening skills.

• Familiarity with stocking and organizing inventory (preferred).
