Welcomes and seats guests and receives and records payment of restaurant guest checks


  • Greets restaurant guests in a friendly and courteous manner.

  • Arranges for prompt seating of guests in order of arrival or availability of seating accommodations.

  • Quotes accurate waiting times, and seats guests when tables are available.

  • Assists in identifying casino comps, hotel and VIP guests for seating; communicates with comp authorizer (signer) regarding any comp charges by the compee.

  • Maintains cleanliness of menus.

  • Familiarizes self with hotel/casino so that accurate directions can be given to guests who inquire.

  • Maintains the appropriate supplies needed for the proper performance of duties.

  • Prepares multiple reports.

  • Responds to telephone calls.

Able to communicate with servers regarding guests' preferences or special needs


  • High School graduate preferred

  • Previous experience as a host preferred; previous reservation systems experience preferred


  • Literacy and fluency in English

  • Above average communication and interactive skills

  • Legible handwriting

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Excellent guest service skills

  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures


  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Auditory and visual range must include immediate environment

  • Manual dexterity to operate a cash register

  • Mobility to move quickly and easily throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas

  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.

VIEW JOBS 4/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-15T00:00 SUMMARY: The Audit Clerk is responsible for analyzing and preparing reports on revenue (from Casino, Hotel, Food & Beverage Outlets and/or Retail outlets, etc.) on a daily basis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Retrieves previous day's work from Department and/or Outlet assigned to. * Creates journal entries and assists with account reconciliations. * Analyzes and prepares reports on various revenue centers on a daily basis. * Traces all revenue and expense documentation to the controlling computer reports. * Proofs all reports and summaries prepared in the Department/Outlet and reconciles to computer printouts and other reports. * Enters data into computer, listing all revenue sources from previous day. Compares data to prior documentation. Compiles exception reports of variances. * Files completed audits by date and performs research on past activities as required. * Takes any meter readings required for the assigned audit. * Consistently promotes and provides customer service to guests in accordance with the Thoughtful Service Model, Company policies, procedures, department SOP's and State and Federal policies/regulations. * Regular attendance required. * Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates' Degree preferred. One or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
