Falmouth High School is seeking a dynamic and innovative full-time French teacher starting in the 2024-25 academic year. This individual will teach five sections of student-centered classes in French (college prep. and Honors) designed to develop clear and effective communicators who have a deep understanding of and appreciation for world languages. Other full-time faculty responsibilities include serving as an advisor, supporting independent student learning initiatives, and taking an active role in the school community in support of student learning and wellness. Falmouth teachers are expected to engage in ongoing professional learning, authentic collaboration with other faculty and staff, and regular goal-setting and reflection.

Qualifications / Certifications / Experience / Degree requirement:
Must hold (or be eligible to hold) the Maine Department of Education teaching certificate (420 French)
Experience working with high school students is preferred
Approved background check (run by the district)
