The World Language Department of Concord-Carlisle High School is seeking a .75 French teacher for the 2019-2020 academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering French language grade-level curriculum and for differentiating instruction for three sections of French in a student-centered classroom, using the target language for all instruction and interactions. S/he must have substantive knowledge of the French language and francophone cultures, as well as an understanding of the best pedagogies necessary to teach world languages.
The successful candidate will also be able to support the whole student in developing 21st century learning skills in collaboration with parents, colleagues and community members. Self reflection skills, data analysis competencies, and the ability to effectively collaborate with others are essential.
Prior teaching experience, familiarity with standards-based education and mastery of technology skills are preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
A bachelor's degree and an appropriate Massachusetts teaching license are required; a master's degree is preferred.
