Freight Operations Specialist Lead

We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams to success. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team of operations staff, and ensuring that processes are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Process Optimization: Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Performance Management: Set clear performance objectives for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching to support their professional development.

Resource Allocation: Manage resource allocation to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of work produced by the operations team and implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels within the operations team and with other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in freight brokerages

• Ability to commute to our Denver office in the Highlands
• The schedule is Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the office, occasional work on Saturday remotely 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• Bi-lingual, Spanish preferred 
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with TMS and DAT
• Experience with project management tools and techniques is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Base salary ($55,000 - $65,000 a year) paid weekly
