Freight Coordinator

Quad is seeking a Freight Coordinator to work at our Franklin, WI Packaging facility. Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Accurately monitor production schedule and inventory to ensure all products are available when needed for interplant or outbound shipments.

Work effectively with co-workers and all other internal/external contacts. Communicating variance from plan to the necessary manufacturing and admin departments. Attend daily scheduling meetings.

Set up shipments with Carrier services for jobs shipping via truckload/LTL and our truck. Prepare required paperwork and documentation such as Pick lists, Bill of Lading, and conformance documentation as needed. Understand and use basic math skills such as adding and subtracting.

Coordinate with other Quad plants for transfers and pick-ups. Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) and office equipment. Previous experience in logistics or freight coordination.

Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess good follow-up and excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to effectively and professionally communicate both verbally and written. General characteristics of the successful candidate include:

The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and being committed to customer service. The ability to organize and work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Forklift experience a plus or a willingness to be certified. Able to work Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm. with overtime as required. We offer excellent benefits to eligible employees, including 401(k), holidays, vacations and more.
