Livingston is looking for a passionate, hard-working associate to join our team as an International Freight Coordinator. The ideal candidate has an interest in supply chain and logistics and is able to juggle multiple tasks while being detail oriented and responsive. This position assists with coordination of export shipping which includes document oversight and distribution, proessing of transactions, rate quoting, and tracking and tracing shipments.


  • Proactively develop and maintain relationship with the clients as their main point of contact

  • Upon receipt of the shipment documents, checks for completeness of required information and performs data input to open file

  • Provide rate quotes & updates to clients on ocean, air, and trucking shipments

  • Handling Export Clearance (AES) and Documentation Distribution when needed (sending all of the final export documents to overseas parties)

  • Performs billing function including preparing client invoice and all required support documents

  • Contact clients to: explain transportation services offered by the department, assess customer's shipping trends and freight rate requirements; follow up with requested information

  • Responsible for making bookings, load planning, opening files, and preparation of hazardous declarations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Solid customer service skills

  • Organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Computer savvy

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to handle a large volume of work

  • Team player


  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree a plus

  • 2-3 years related experience

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
