Position Summary:
Responsible for building and leading all aspects of Capstone's 3rd party freight brokerage business with a heavy emphasis on new customer, sales and earnings growth.
What you will do:
Lead and grow 3rd party freight brokerage operation with a heavy emphasis on growth.
Create and implement new business development plans to achieve sales and earnings growth targets.
Build and execute operational plans to efficiently and effectively manage day to day operations.
Develop customer service strategy to ensure customer expectations are met and partnerships grow.
Establish daily, weekly and monthly key performance indicators (KPI's).
Monitor KPI's to identify and capitalize on service or financial opportunities quickly.
Stay up to date on latest industry trends and news and adjust business plans as necessary.
Interview, hire, train, and retain staff.
Effectively lead and coach the team.
Invest in and develop individuals to maximize both individual and team performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the fields of supply chain management, leadership, and the foodservice industry.
Five (5) years of Freight Broker management experience plus five (5) years of sales experience within the transportation industry. Preferred experience with logistic company startup operations.
