Freight Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

● The freight analyst is needed to look after the sustenance of the freight bearer within Mattsons organizations. Ensure freight rates are being enforced and routing guide is enforced.

● Prepare freight expense tracking details, lane pairs and analysis patterns and freight rates trends.

● Ensuring the timely transaction of all materials shipments.

● Execute the Freight RFQ's review summary results with VP of Logistics and notify carriers of awards.

● File Freight claims with carriers.

● Is responsible for creating efficient route and service level guidelines and updating routing guide.

● Oversea the US duty recovery program with outsources provider, update monthly reports for Duty spent, recovered with projected future filings.

● Supporting Trade compliance team if documents are needed from carriers.

● Overseas Freight payment auditing company, ensure timely and accurate postings of Freight is occurring along with imports of freight spends to Mattson Finance.

● Ensure data recorded is accurate and precise.

● Build relationships with carrier base suppliers.

● Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

● High school diploma or GED required.

● Previous Freight experience, Terms, rates, modes.

● Strong working knowledge of Logistics.

● Time management skills.

● Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Problem-solving skills.

● Experience of MRP systems, SAP preferred.

● Microsoft office

● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

● Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize independently with minimal supervision.
