RUN is seeking qualified, motivated freelance / contract producers local to the Seattle or Redmond areas. We are looking for experience in line producing motion graphics, film/video, and editorial/audio post - and/or broadcast, webcast and live events. Producers work closely with the clients, production staff, and Creative Directors to oversee individual projects from initial development phases to delivery. They must have the ability to accurately bid and predict a given job, and possess solid technical knowledge of the entire production process including:

  1. live action film / video processes
  2. off-line and on-line editorial processes
  3. motion graphics production process
  4. visual effects production process
  5. basic audio production knowledge

A successful Producer will have excellent communication, problem solving abilities, client needs management skills, and patience.

This is a key role in the post-production process and the editor's skill determines the quality and delivery of the final product. Digital technology is increasingly the key medium for editing. Based in the post-production editing suite, the editor works closely with the director/producer to meet his or her requirements. The majority of film/video editors are employed on a freelance basis, working on short-term contracts for post-production studios, television companies, and corporate employers. Key Responsibilities: * Assembling the final product as a sequence consisting of shots from the raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, and graphics * Provides excellent customer service to clients and teams throughout the organization to support customer loyalty and ensure a positive client experience. * Hourly editor as dictated by Post-Production Schedule * First response to technical escalations (responding to Post-Production Experience Supervisor Escalations – along with or instead of SES depending on the situation). * Partnering with Post-Production Experience Supervisors to improve workflows and efficiencies and drive improvements for our clients * Helping DMS team around ingest needs and media processing, often from a technical support and proactive consultation role * Partnering with DMS service leads and Post-Production Service Leads to improve workflows and improving how we use our Production Asset Management System and SAN storage * Helping Operations resolve edit scheduling issues * Assisting Operations with post- production technical information to answer client inquiries Qualifications: * Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across teams and management * Strong self-management skills * Excellent attention to detail; Consistently produce accurate work product * Sense of urgency and excellent time management skills * Ability to take initiative and seek out resources and tools to increase effectiveness * Ability to maintain efficiency in a fast paced environment Salary up to 60K, DOE.
