Role: Fraud Investigations Analyst

The Opportunity

"As a Fraud Analyst within the CardAlert Service Team you will be responsible for identification, development, and investigation of bankcard fraud or counterfeit cases detected through the use of proprietary products or cases reported by customers. If you enjoy analyzing data for patterns and trends and possess strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills, this could be the position for you!" -Fraud Investigations Manager

What You'll Contribute

  • Gather, organize, and analyze data as it pertains to case development through the use of analytical, tracking, and data management tools.

  • Use tools to research and update contact database of CAS customers.

  • Interact with senior staff and customers to further develop cases, identify and analyze points of compromise, and notify customers of potential risk.

  • Work with team on well-defined tasks related to detection of suspicious point of fraud activity using proprietary software, and identification of potential cases through the use of in-house tools to update and query the database.

What We're Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Ability to analyze data for patterns and trends and to take findings and communicate them in an effective manner.

  • Demonstrates detailed orientation and organizational skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on MS Access.

  • Database experience preferred.

  • Ability to work some rotating weekends and holidays.

What You'll Contribute * Design, develop, deploy and support modules of large world-class enterprise-level solution offering. * Ensuring FICO's solutions are implemented smoothly and effectively within the customer environment. * Provide technical and functional mentoring to our customers. * Collaborate with the team on a wide range of complex technical projects, assignments, and issues to ensure excellent customer experience. * Drive technical architecture and design process. * Evaluate new design specifications and raise quality standards, address architectural concerns. * Work on a wide range of complex projects, assignments and issues. * Evaluate stability, compatibility, scalability, interoperability, and performance of the solution. * Demonstrate technical expertise through publication, presentations, white papers and event participation. * Continually learn new technologies in related areas. * Serve as a source of technical expertise and a mentor across Professional Services teams. * Establish client relationship(s) and collaborate with sales team in business development activities by leveraging deep functional, technical and product knowledge. What We're Seeking * Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant experience in software architecture, design, development, and testing. * Demonstrates experience in Linux performance tuning and troubleshooting. * Demonstrates the ability to take ownership of issues, reviewing and providing expert technical inputs on product and third-party components within a customer-facing role. * Ability to independently determine methods and procedures on new assignments and influence technical leadership in related areas. * Demonstrates strong infrastructure knowledge and experience in configuration/administration in Linux (RHEL) and AIX. * Ability to work with middleware/Application Server technologies (WAS; Tomcat) for troubleshooting and configuration. * Technical knowledge and experience working with database solutions such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 for troubleshooting and configuration. * Knowledge of Directory services as AD, Tivoli DS or ApacheDS to configure user access. * Displays an understanding of object-oriented programming (Java, C, C++) for review of logs and code for accuracy and troubleshooting. * Knowledge of REST API techniques, XML, payload formatting and data mapping. * Understand and communicate both business and technical objectives from multiple perspectives including client view, internal development view, and operational and support view. * Ability to build relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders from senior executive to support desk, leveraging these relationships effectively to validate assumptions, acquire useful information, negotiate among competing objectives, resolve issues, manage change, agree to direction and achieve consensus. * Demonstrates the ability to communicate at an advanced level in English (reading, writing, speaking). * Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the United States and Canada.
