As a Fraud Detections Analyst in our Fraud Department you'll help create exceptional customer experiences through protecting customer's identity and fraudulent activity on accounts.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be thoroughly reviewing accounts to determine the potential for fraudulent activity.

  • You will handle incoming calls with professionalism and actively listening and establishing rapport with our customers.

  • You will place outbound calls as a source of comparison to account indicators.

  • You will complete audit documentation.

  • You will be quickly understanding and analyzing customer needs while still adhering to compliance regulations and security policies.

  • You will escalate accounts to supervisory team as necessary.

  • You will always maintain professional verbal and written communication standards

  • You will serve as a Barclaycard ambassador and makes sound judgment calls on behalf of the Company.

What we're looking for:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 years of experience in a customer service environment.

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Ability to prove excellent performance and attendance record is preferred.

  • Excellent oral communications skills (grammar, negotiation, positive tone, active listening, etiquette, empathy, confidence) and written skills (spelling, logical thought processes and sentence construction, appropriate word choice)

  • Extremely customer-focused; positive with a professional attitude

  • Intelligent, self-motivated, quick learner

  • Pays strict attention to detail, understands importance of accuracy and responsiveness

  • Strong PC and internet skills with very good organization and work prioritization skills

  • Banking or Fraud experiences a strong plus

Position Summary Generate or develop reports using defined reporting tools which may include statistical analysis for specific program processes. Handle details and assignments of a confidential nature. Exercise independent judgment and initiative while performing analytical duties to support Corporate and Business Unit objectives. Research problems and communicate with all levels on problem resolution. Support various programs and systems, and train internal customers on those programs and systems. Position may have concentration in specific business areas, processes or systems. Within in the area of Supply Chain Operations, the Vendor Master Associate Specialist position is expected to productively perform in all aspects of the Vendor Master processes, including but not limited to, maintaining the vendor master. Performs activities required to create, change and validate vendor master data. Perform basic statistical and relational analysis of large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies and anomalies. Validate and syndicate changes to master vendor data as approved by business review process including but not limited to requests to create, change, extend, block/unblock, activate/deactivate, or otherwise modify master data. Communicate and liaise with business units to thoroughly understand business requirements and impact of master data changes. Inform and advise requestors and key stakeholders of status as appropriate. Review, validate and execute Vendor hierarchy create and change requests. SAP and SAP-Vendor Master experience preferred. Essential Responsibilities * Project Management: Develop plans and lead independent projects that improve processes. Proactively Plan and communicate project milestones, obstacles, and progress. Serve as the primary interface for assigned Program/System Administration activities utilized by Supply Chain to support business processes and corporate wide employees. Investigate problems, identify root causes and suggest and implement potential solutions. * Customer/System Support/Problem Resolution: Perform in-depth analysis and research on internal/external customer questions, software, system or transactional problems. Provide customer service support as a technical and informational resource in order to resolve questions/issues to improve corporate or business unit results. * Analysis/Reporting/Problem Resolution: Identify opportunities to Gather and interpret data (cost, productivity, trends, etc.) to drive continuous improvement opportunities. Analyze, prepare and present reports to ensure data accuracy and resolve identified issues. Support analysis and research of audit questions. Use reporting tools to generate or develop reports from various data sources. Use other software packages such as Access and Excel, to track and graph data. * Process/System Documentation/Training: Lead the development of Process and System user documentation, corporate policies, and procedures. Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities. Assist and develop training on departmental systems and processes. * Auditing: Proactively Conduct independent reviews of critical Supply Chain processes and documents to ensure compliance with departmental, corporate and regulatory guideline, as requested. Assist with SOX testing as needed to drive continuous improvement to meet corporate and business unit objectives. Drive completion of all internal and external audit requests. Audit and correct errors and advise personnel on procedures to process transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with associated corporate and regulatory requirements, such as sales tax, SOX, IRS, and FERC, using a variety of systems. Supports audits led by others. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Law, Accounting or equivalent experience required * Excellent customer/communication skills. Must be approachable, flexible, customer focused, self-motivated, results and team-oriented * Learns new tasks, tools, systems, and processes and develops skills quickly * SAP and SAP-Vendor Master experience preferred.
