  • The Fraud Analyst II shall assists in obtaining documents and other information related to investigations and cases for the Security Exchange Commission (SEC).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs research to locate potential witnesses.

  • Conducts in-house, telephone and database research; manages case file.

  • Assists in the preparation of interim and final reports and recommendations.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Four-year degree, Master's degree, and/or certification(s) in a related labor category field from an accredited college, university, school or educational institution that has been accredited by accrediting bodies or organizations recognized by the US Department of Education

  • Three (3) years of relevant technical experience.

  • Special knowledge and skill in litigation support, document analysis and/or accounting, preferred.

  • Experience in litigation support during trial, including courtroom

  • Experience in interviewing witnesses

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work effectively in an extremely pressured environment.

  • Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 2010 or newer programs.

  • Ability to provide favorable credit history

  • Knowledge of e-discovery procedures and resources.

  • Must have working knowledge of various public repositories of information.

  • Familiarity with investigative tools, public and private records databases, and fraud investigations helpful.

Essential Job Functions Prepares proposals, plans, reports and recommendations including investigative, factual, and analytical data in support of proposed community and senior services resources and programs. Meets and confers with various representatives of other County departments and outside jurisdictions and agencies in an effort to resolve conflicting or divergent opinions and to effect mutually acceptable solutions. Serves in a resource capacity to representatives of cities, school districts and community agencies participating in community and senior services delivery programs. Interprets governing policies, regulations, and ordinances to contracting agencies. Evaluates performance of program or fiscal operations for compliance with applicable contracts, plans, and regulations. Develops recommendations for the creation of policy, goals, organization, operating procedures and administration of programs. Participates as a team member in the assessment of funding proposals submitted by prospective contract agencies. Assesses the effectiveness of existing programs and develops recommendations for additional or alternative plans to improve community and senior services delivery.
