Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, GF Management. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.
Areas of responsibility include Restaurants/Bars and Room Service and Coffer Corner. Supervises daily restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan. Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary. Scheduling,training and handle any guest complaints or employee.
A minimum of 1-2 years of food and beverage management experience at a hotel property.
Extensive experience in restaurant bar, banquet, kitchen, sales, catering and management required
Ability to oversee multiple outlets
Demonstrated ability to analyze and react to changes in volume and revenues
Knowledge and experience with forecasting, budgeting, labor management, and purchasing
Ability to analyze, forecast data, and make judgments to ensure proper payroll and production control
Ability to analyze and solve problems in a timely manner, efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision and work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends/holidays
Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
Ability to obtain any required licenses or certificates (for example, Serve Safe certification or any other Food Handlers permit required in the state, county, and/or city where employed)
Must have a valid alcohol awareness certification or be capable of obtaining certification
