Food and Beverage Supervisor

To supervise the food and beverage department, to ensure guest satisfaction adding to the overall guest experience. Must have previous food and beverage supervisor experience, preferable from a hotel. This positions reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure proper opening and closings of outlets

  • Maintain proper staffing levels of outlets

  • Respond to customer requests, resolve guest issues

  • Provide support and guidance to outlets based on needs

  • Ensure proper receiving of products and goods

  • Maintain brand standards in the outlets

  • Responsible for shift operations including reporting, staffing levels and work production as it applies to the outlets

  • Controls cash handling procedures on daily shifts

  • Communicates to F&B team staffing issues and needs

  • Attend daily stand up meetings, communicate daily highlights

  • Attends quarterly staff meetings

  • Implements menu changes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Prior food and beverage supervisor experience required

  • Ability to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members

  • Ability to approach difficult situations with a customer service focus

  • Ability to manage / supervise a diverse team and delegate tasks accordingly
