The Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) continually supports and coaches assigned franchisees with systems and procedures designed to open and operate successful stores. The FBC's primary roles will be to ensure the opening of stores to EOS specifications by coordinating the development and opening processes with other departments, as well as ensuring the profitable operation of existing stores through proper execution, sales maximization and expense minimization. The FBC works both independently and with other departments to generate and provide the tools required for franchisee and brand success.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • After a franchisee signs a franchise agreement, the FBC works in a cross-functional coordinator role to ensure site selection, design, construction, training and opening processes are provided and followed in order to successfully open a store to EOS specifications

Monitor the franchisee's search for timeliness, suitable sites, use of explanation of analytics and site selection software. Facilitate formal approval of site and review of lease.

Encourage franchisee to conduct a site survey with a qualified contractor

Send franchisee prototypical design criteria, graphics and style guides and follow up to ensure they are used in the design

Facilitate formal approval of the finished design

Coordinate weekly construction calls

Monitor to ensure store is built according to approved plan and specifications

Coordinate and observe Manager training in Florida

Monitor progress on opening timeline to ensure it is being followed, including sourcing, purchasing, training and public relations

  • Provide post-opening support

Advise existing franchisees on sales building

Advise existing franchisees on cost control

  • COG's, Labor, Controllables

Perform quarterly audits of cleanliness, service, food quality, hospitality

  • Monitor financial and operational results through effective oversight of operations, social media, shopper reports and financial statements.

  • Complete targeted number of franchisee visits, providing valuable business consulting services to franchisees to drive their success.

  • Work as needed with cross-functional teams such as R&D, marketing, purchasing, training and others to launch and achieve targeted results for company programs and initiatives.

  • Launch new operational programs, food products/other promotional items associated with the marketing calendar, as well as equipment and/or technology upgrades

  • Represent company as needed at various committees, shows or business trips.

  • Manage franchisee communications when needed to include reoccurring conference calls

  • Serve as a clearinghouse for all franchise questions

Education/Training * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
